Bold & Beautiful’s Deacon and Taylor have landed smack dab between a rock and a hard place. Limited options is an understatement. How will they proceed? Well, let’s just say love, especially of the very sudden and intense variety, clouds one’s thinking. In this case, it will almost certainly set the scene for the keeping of a secret so deadly that its reveal would blow the canvas sky-high.
If the fear of Sheila’s revenge wasn’t terrifying enough, Taylor is also now facing the threat, courtesy of Steffy, of being mercilessly cut-off from her family should she decide to pursue a relationship with reformed con and restaurateur, Deacon. Somehow, all of that didn’t stop Tay from kissing the cook in the middle of her daughter’s beachside abode.
If our hunch is correct, Taylor and Deacon’s solution will be to carry on seeing one another, but keep it hidden from everyone. Hence, the “deadly secret”. Deadly, because if Sheila finds out, and you know she will, homicide is not off the table.
We can see it now. Deacon finally gets the cojones to break things off with Sheila, but she won’t simply go away. She’ll sense that something’s awry and lurk around Los Angeles trying to get to the truth. She’ll probably show up at Taylor’s office pleading with her to save her marriage again, only to find out that Taylor is no longer seeing her husband… at least not as a patient.
Sheila is many things but stupid is not one of them… alarm bells will be going off. Deacon and Taylor would be playing with fire to put it mildly. Their deadly secret will come out one way or another, and the impact will be widespread.
Steffy will be apoplectic when she discovers that her mother ignored her warnings and carried on with Sheila’s Husband™, which, in her mind, equates to willfully putting her and her children in danger. Finn, meanwhile, will be up to his eyeballs in this given that his wife will be freaking out over his mother-in-law provoking his psychopath Birth Mother™. We’re going to have a feuding and heartbreak at the very least. A mess!
Let’s not forget, the reveal would put Deacon and his family on Sheila’s hit list, which directly affects Deke, Hope, Liam, and Beth. This, in turn, would incite Bill, who is likely to pull his promised investment in Deacon’s business… and explode, of course.
It’s not an exaggeration to say the entire canvas will be blown sky-high… and left on high alert for Sheila’s next move. After all, the tamest thing the madwoman could do would be to go after Taylor’s license to practice. The worst would be kidnapping, attempted murder, or actual murder!
