The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Thursday, January 8, reveals that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) decided to dig for Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budifg) gossip while Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) sounded the Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) alarm to her mom.

In the Forrester showroom, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) tried to convince Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) that her home was in Paris, but he disagreed.

After Daphne suggested maybe they should just be a fantasy that they smile back on, Carter wanted more than that.

Carter was sorry for hurting Daphne when he initially rejected her, but he admitted she was right about their connection and his doomed relationship with Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle).

After Carter once again pushed Daphne to stay in Los Angeles, he pulled her into a sizzling kiss on Thursday’s B&B episode.

When Brooke showed up looking for Carter in the CEO office, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) hinted about Carter having something other than business on his mind.

Ridge explained the Daphne situation before Brooke wondered if that was the only gossip Steffy passed along.

Brooke hoped for some positive Taylor love life updates.

Ridge appreciated the fact that Brooke wanted happiness for Taylor and locked lips with his wife.

At Il Giardino, Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) could tell Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) was distracted and called him out on it.

Deacon tried to act like he was just thinking about Deke’s fashion career, but his son didn’t buy it.

Deacon eventually hinted that another woman was on his mind, so Deke was intrigued and wondered if it was anyone he knew.

After Deacon confessed it was Taylor, Deke was absolutely delighted.

Deke complained about Sheila since both customers and other staff members preferred to avoid her.

Now that Deacon was connecting with Taylor, Deke hoped this could be the start of something more than just therapy sessions.

Deke suggested it’d be nice for Deacon to come home to someone like Taylor, who’s actually worthy of him.

Since Sheila brought negativity, lied to Deacon about Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and had a long list of crimes, Deke was still against his dad’s marriage to her.

Deacon seemed nervous throughout this discussion and pushed Deke to keep his voice down, but Deke could barely contain his excitement over the Taylor news.

In Taylor’s office, Steffy insisted Taylor couldn’t fall for a patient, especially Deacon since he was lunatic Sheila’s husband.

Taylor admitted Deacon had some great qualities and said that he “sees” her.

As Taylor tried to defend their complicated bond, Steffy shut her down and sounded the Sheila alarm.

Taylor acknowledged the possibility that Sheila had changed and offered a reminder about her saving Steffy’s life not too long ago.

Steffy still didn’t think Taylor should be going after a married man and worried Sheila would go off the rails if she found out.

Taylor maintained that no lines had been crossed, but Steffy kept ranting about all the Sheila danger.

Sheila could make Taylor her next victim, so Steffy pushed her mom to choose any man other than Deacon.

After Taylor said Steffy was right and pulled her daughter into a hug, she looked pensive over Steffy’s shoulder.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Deacon and Taylor’s connection will prove difficult to sever, so stay tuned for the trouble that’s still to come.
