Starting a fashion house is a major undertaking, so Katie knows what she’s getting herself into here.

Part of Katie wants to believe she can prove Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and all the other naysayers wrong, but another part of her is scared to fail.

B&B fans will recall the disastrous fashion show daydream that Katie had not too long ago.

Katie imagined becoming a laughingstock due to the models’ gowns falling apart on the runway.

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) gave Katie a pep talk that restored her confidence a bit, but he’s the devoted husband who gave her this fashion house present.

It’s a given that Bill’s going to say Katie can do anything and predict she’s going to be a smashing success!

However, 2026 preview spoilers indicate big challenges are ahead for Katie and the team she’s building.

We’ll see Katie deal with more hurdles – and once Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) officially signs on as a designer, he’ll face some obstacles of his own.

In other words, it won’t be smooth sailing when it comes to the fashion house that Katie’s trying to launch.

Katie won the Logan name battle, but now she has to put in the work and prove herself as a real force in the fashion industry. That could be easier said than done!

Katie has plenty of PR experience and may ultimately give a press conference announcing all her grand plans.

How will Katie react if the response isn’t everything she hoped it would be?

It’s easy to imagine critics saying a lot of the things that Brooke and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) have been saying.

There could be doubts about whether Katie can pull this off and questions about whether she really knows the fashion world well enough.

Katie might also be accused of piggybacking on her sister’s fashion-related fame, which is something Brooke basically hurled accusations about.

If Katie announces Deke as a key hire, that could stir up press doubts, too.

There may be talk about how Deke is just barely out of design school and perhaps incapable of running with the big dogs at this point.

It’s easy to imagine Katie’s inevitable press conference ending in catastrophe.

Katie may be left wondering if she can really do this, but that’s when Bill may step up with more encouragement.
