Sure, we saw it coming a mile away, but Eric’s decision to design Katie’s first collection still caused a stir with fans of Bold & Beautiful, who are beyond ready for the conflict that lies ahead!
One Redditor predicted that Eric working with Katie would bring ‘mayhem’, which left other viewers on the thread all but rubbing their hands together with anticipatory glee.

DangerousRoad4626 declared, “It’s going to be delicious mayhem and I’m ready!” Hollywoodcohen chimed in, “I hope Katie actually comes out on top in this storyline and we don’t get the ‘oh we’re giving up & putting things back to ‘normal’ in a few months’ crap they gave us with Carter & Hope’s takeover storyline.” Social media platforms lit up after the episode as well:
I love this Eric joining Katie launching Logan finally a story worth watching #boldandbeautiful

Ridge retiring Eric before he was ready, as well as his and Brooke’s reaction to Katie going out on her own, left a bad taste for many Bold & Beautiful fans, who feel it’s time for them to be brought down a few pegs… and what better way to do it than Eric teaming with Katie to serve them a heaping serving of humility?!

Of course, this is Bold & Beautiful, so the move is not without controversy and questions, such as: In what world would the founder of Forrester join a competing start-up in hopes of helping it prevail over his own company? How on earth will Eric explain this to Brooke, given his role on the soap of late has to be her champion at every turn? Is Katie truly coming out on top if she can’t pull this off Forrester-free? Finally, are we really watching a man rescue a woman in business yet again, in 2026?
It felt a little like Eric was taking some ownership from Katie. She was struggling, might have gotten in over her head, blah blah blah…Eric to the rescue. Just like they did constantly in recent years with HFTF. I hate it actually. #BoldandBeautiful

Of course, Katie was never going to design her own collection, so she would have had to hire someone. So, it might as well be a choice that creates the maximum amount of drama… right?! SOAPS readers, you can let us know how you see it by voting in the poll.
