Coronation Street‘s Megan Walsh risks her dark secret being exposed in next week’s episodes, as a chain of events leads to multiple characters ending up in hospital at the same time. Will she evade suspicion?
Evil teacher Megan has been grooming teenager Will Driscoll, and while Tracy McDonald has realised that there’s something up with her, the residents of the street are still unaware about what’s really going on.
In scenes set to air across Monday, 19 January and Tuesday, 20 January, Megan suddenly tells Will that she’s got to go away for a while.
He asks her if she’s ill, but will she tell him the truth – which looks to be that she’s pregnant?
The next day, the stress of the escalating feud between Eva Price and Maggie causes Will’s dad Ben to suffer heart palpitations, and he is rushed to hospital.
But who also turns out to be there at A&E? None other than Will and Megan. Is it over for them? Or will she lie and worm her way out of this one too?
“Megan is taking a lot of risks with Will,” our Corrie source points out. “They’ve already aroused suspicion with the amount of time they’re spending together – and we’ve seen that characters like Lauren are already watching them closely.”
“If Megan and Will are spotted at the hospital together, it’d be a difficult one to explain – although we’ve seen that sly Megan is an expert at covering her tracks,” our insider added.
It’s not the only upcoming plot twist in this dark storyline, as not only does Daniel Osbourne (who Megan is dating mostly as a cover-up) announce that he’s got strong feelings for her, but a new character turns up who reveals that Will hasn’t been the first teenager the teacher has targeted…
