The episode begins with Ridge and Brooke still exclaiming over RJ being back. They tell him they’re dealing with some changes and get right into Katie starting her own fashion house and naming it Logan against Brooke’s wishes.

RJ sides with his mother, but rather comically suggests that it’s out of her hands at this point and she can accept it or not. Brooke decides he’s right… she needs to move on. She’s going to go over and make things right.

Bill’s Big Splash

At Spencer, Bill tells Katie they need a lead designer. She teases him before revealing they have one. “Eric Forrester.” Bill’s dumbfounded. He questions if Eric can really turn his back on the company that bears his name.

Bill muses that Eric must want to stick it to Ridge for forcing him out. Katie clucks, “That’s not what this is about.” Bill’s sure it’s a component. He wants to do a huge media splash, but Katie nixes the idea. “We need to keep this quiet, Bill.” Her husband backs off and congratulates her. Katie wishes Brooke felt the same way.

Donna’s Fears

At Logan, Eric is hanging out in the office when Donna appears, surprised to find him there. She’s pleased that he’s been guiding Katie. Eric tells his wife that things are looking up, not just for Logan, but for him as well. “I’ve agreed to be your sister’s lead designer.”

Realizing Donna’s in shock, Eric works to convince her it’s a good thing. She, predictably, is worried about his health and the fallout. He warns her not to tell Brooke and Ridge. He’ll decide when the time is right.

They go over Eric working for Bill. He says Katie’s the boss and he won’t interact with Spencer much at all. Donna worries about Brooke and Ridge taking this personally. Eric grunts about a little healthy competition. Brooke doesn’t own the name Logan anymore than Forrester owns him.

Katie points out her sister hasn’t been supportive and asserts that she’s not changing the name of her company. Brooke isn’t asking that… she wants to make peace. Katie would like that, but she has a feeling the blonde will be even less supportive of her in the future.

The Final Scenes

In the main office, Electra shows RJ the jewelry. He says, “Very beautiful,” clearly not meaning the baubles. She puts them in the safe and remembers she has one around her neck. He offers to help, moving her hair and touching the nape of her neck. He offers to lock up the heart necklace and quips, “Don’t worry, Electra. Your heart’s safe with me.”

In the Logan office, Eric tells Donna how excited he is for this opportunity. She accepts that he wants to do this. He repeats that he’ll tell Ridge in his own time. She promises to keep this a secret from Brooke. “They pushed me out of Forrester.” This is of their own making. “They’re in for the shock of their lives.”

In the Spencer office, Brooke remarks on Katie being a “one woman show,” saying there is something admirable about that. Katie is happy with the way things are progressing and she’s not by herself. She can’t resist saying she has her own designer. Brooke asks, “Well, who is it?” Just then, Eric walks in. It takes her a minute, but she puts two and two together, gets four, and narrows her eyes at Katie.
