The Bold and the Beautiful Monday, January 5 Recap: Steffy Joins in Logan Bashing, Katie’s Dream Offer for Deke
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Monday, January 5, reveals that Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) had a dream offer for Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) while Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) joined in all the “Logan” bashing.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy got updates on Katie and Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) “Logan” win before grumbling about it with everyone at the office.
Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) were all there to complain along with Steffy.
It was clear that none of them had faith in Katie’s ability to run a fashion house.
Although Bill had plenty of money to fund Logan and Katie had lots of contacts, Ridge didn’t think either one of them was a true artist.
Bill and Katie lacked the heart and soul needed to bring this fashion house to life – at least as far as Ridge was concerned.
At Il Giardino on Monday’s B&B episode, Deke thanked Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) for giving him a job as a waiter since he was laid off at Forrester.
Katie and Bill came in for a meal, which led to a discussion about her needing to build her team.
After Katie talked about hiring someone young and unexpected, she had a spark of inspiration when she looked over at Deke.
Katie thought the answer might be right in front of them, so she pushed Bill to leave the table while Deke took a break to talk to her.
Once Katie fished for details on what happened at Forrester Creations, she told Deke that he shouldn’t give up.
Deke appreciated the pep talk, but Katie insisted it was more than that.
After Katie mentioned Bill giving her a fashion house as a wedding present, she suggested maybe she could help fulfill Deke’s dreams.
In return, Katie hoped that Deke could help prove Brooke wrong since she expected her fashion house to fail.
Bill took his plate over to the bar and ordered a club soda from Deacon, who spoke to him about his remarriage to Katie.
Deacon was glad Bill was finally done with Brooke and praised Bill for being so smooth about his proposal-turned-wedding night.
After Deacon offered news about expanding his business to frozen pizzas and needing investors, Bill was intrigued.
The conversation shifted to Deke’s passion for fashion and Deacon’s lack of understanding about the industry.
Bill didn’t really understand the appeal of the fashion industry either, but he hinted about things changing thanks to Katie.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill and Katie will work hard to make this fashion house as successful as possible, but will they pull it off?
