The Bold and the Beautiful RJ Forrester Recast Confirmed: Brayan Nicoletti Debuts for Fashion House Rivalry
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that an RJ Forrester recast has been confirmed. Brayan Nicoletti will debut as RJ for a Spencer-Forrester rivalry story and so much more, so let’s talk about this casting shakeup.
Back in December, CDL speculated that Nicoletti might be playing a new spin on RJ after pics leaked of him at a holiday cast party.
Confirmation came in a new interview with B&B Head Writer and Executive Producer Bradley Bell, who revealed that Nicoletti is indeed playing RJ now.
Brayan Nicoletti takes over the role following Joshua Hoffman’s last RJ appearance back in 2024.
Now that we know for sure Nicoletti is stepping into RJ’s shoes, we can talk about what’s in store for the character.
Bell offered some hints about what’s ahead for RJ in his latest interview.
It turns out RJ will make a fierce foe when he returns to the canvas, so that’ll lead to plenty of fresh story opportunities.
“We’re at a great time in the show where you have that next generation to play with their core family members…And we will have another Spencer/Forrester rivalry with Will and RJ, so that’s going to be some fun,” Bell said.
RJ is the son of Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), so it’s safe to assume he’ll be on their side when it comes to the Logan-Forrester Creations battle, too.
Ridge and Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) rivalry is clearly trickling down to RJ and Will Spencer (Crew Morrow), so it’ll be exciting to see all that entertaining conflict.
There’s a good chance RJ’s going to fall hard for Dylan (Sydney Bullock) sooner or later.
Dylan may be crushing on Will right now, but she might find a different wealthy family to worm her way into through RJ down the road.
Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) can’t date RJ since they’re Boot Forresters, so it makes sense that RJ and Dylan will eventually become the couple to root for.
Some beach house drama will play out with Will, Electra and Dylan first, but Dylan and RJ may ultimately feel a spark when the time comes.
