Tension also grows between Dana and Harper. Dana is deeply uneasy about Harper’s determination to dig into their parents’ past, fearing old wounds will be reopened. She confides in Sunny, who reminds her of how much progress she’s made and urges her to focus on the present. But when Dana confronts Harper, she draws a firm boundary, insisting she wants no part in Harper’s plans to reconnect with their mother.

Elsewhere, Lacy finds herself under unwanted scrutiny when a journalist named Peter tries to profile her. After being firmly rejected, Peter attempts to pressure David and later Justin, raising suspicions and mistrust. When David spots Justin speaking with the journalist, he feels betrayed, believing secrets are being kept from him.

A touching moment follows as Remy’s dream becomes reality with the opening of Back on Track Records. Wanting to honor Theo, Leah and Justin bring his beloved guitar to the studio to be displayed as a tribute. The plaque beside it bears Justin’s heartfelt words: “In this house, music is never a waste of time.” For Leah, it brings rare comfort amid her grief.

Romantic tension simmers as Tane faces awkward scrutiny from David ahead of his next date with Joe. Tane chooses honesty, revealing his conviction to Joe, who responds with understanding. The pair grow closer, but David’s continued interference keeps Tane on edge.

Marilyn’s storyline takes a worrying turn as she pushes herself far beyond her limits. Despite Alf and Leah urging her to slow down, she insists on holding everything together. Her refusal to rest has devastating consequences when she collapses at work, leaving everyone shaken. Though Alf and Leah force her to take time off, Marilyn’s stubbornness sees her return too soon, prompting Leah to finally put her foot down.

At the hospital, Levi is struggling emotionally after revealing that Mackenzie has suffered a miscarriage. His bottled-up pain erupts when an aggressive patient attacks Brie, and Levi lashes out violently, punching the man. The fallout is swift and serious as Cash arrests Levi for assault, putting his career on the line and leaving Eden terrified for his future.

Passion also ignites as Joe and Tane finally give in to their feelings, sharing an intimate moment that confirms they truly want to be together. However, their attempt to keep the relationship quiet doesn’t last long. Lacy soon notices their chemistry, and when Cash confirms they’re officially dating, questions arise about why Joe kept it secret.

Finally, grief boils over when Leah lashes out at Lacy, blaming her in a moment of raw pain. Cash steps in before things turn physical, but the emotional damage is done.

With secrets exposed, emotions running high, and relationships pushed to their limits, next week promises heartbreak, romance, and dramatic consequences across Summer Bay.
